Adventure Your Way

Your adventure begins with a brief city tour of historic downtown Charlottetown, then on to the rolling rural countryside. Tour Dalvay by the Sea, the magnificent Victorian summer home built in 1895 for the president of Standard Oil and now a National Historic Site located on PEI’s spectacular North Shore. Dalvay by the Sea is in the Queen Anne revival-style of architecture with its many gables and dormers. The highlight of this tour is a lobster luncheon in one of Atlantic Canada’s premier dining rooms.*

After lunch, take a walk or perhaps a canoe or rowboat ride on Long Pond, neighbouring the property. Try the horse-shoe pitch, the croquet green, or just relax to take in the splendour of the property in one of the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn with a gin and tonic. This tour lets you take a step back in time to a quieter, more tranquil era.

*Alternative entrées of chicken, salmon, beef or vegetarian are also available.
