Designed around what our Capital is most famous for, an afternoon filled of adventure in history combined with Island hospitality- After receiving a warm welcome from your expert guide, you’ll board our vehicle and make our way to beautiful and historic Charlottetown. Our first stop will be at the Gahan House where you will receive a personalized tour of Prince Edward Island’s first micro-brewery – The Gahan House Brewery. This will also be a great lunch stop for one of the Islands best ‘fish & chips’. During the tour you will hear the story of the Gahan House, the historic location, as well as the brewery itself and the history of brewing on Prince Edward Island. Most importantly you will be introduced to their family of ales and get to experience first- hand how they are made. And, as you know, a visit would not be complete without some samples of heir fine product. Enjoy a tastings of their ales! We will then make our way to Lobster on the Wharf where we will meet our Oyster Shucker, as he guides you through the ins and outs of buying, storing, cooking, and enjoying shellfish. Our last stop of the day will be at Cow’s Ice Cream for a double scoop of your choice, named “World’s Best Ice Cream” by Tauck World Travel, COWS Ice Cream is made from a family recipe that has been passed down for generations. Take a tour here to learn how they make the ice cream, as well as their award winning cloth bound cheddar.
