Looking for a great family experience? Young and old will enjoy this excursion!
While lobster suppers are a “must do” on Prince Edward Island, nowhere will you find a more magnificent setting for fresh lobster dining than aboard Top Notch, anchored near the mouth of Charlottetown Harbour. Diners can choose to have their lobster served hot or try it cold, the way Islanders enjoy it. Meals include a 1-lb lobster, coleslaw, potato salad, a roll, and a non-alcoholic beverage. Wine and beer is also available as Top Notch is a liquor-licensed vessel.
Explore Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island’s Capital City by way of the water ward. Sail past historic sites, lighthouses, and get an up close and breath taking view of our rocky red shoreline and cliffs on Historic Charlottetown Harbour tour to Governor’s Island in Hillsborough Bay. Governor’s Island’s 84 acres are some of the oldest geological (mudstone) formations in PEI; and is greatly conserved by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
Beneath our coastal waters, hidden between rock and weed, lies one of the areas greatest natural treasures, the Atlantic Canada lobster! Learn about the mussel industry, the art of lobster fishing and the out of the ordinary life of a lobster. Our lobster hauling demonstration and professional narration is informative and entertaining. Fun for all ages! We invite you to relax, hear stories of the first European settlers in the area and Confederation; visit the natural habitat of Harbour Seals and Gray Seals. While every trip is subject to the whims of nature, you may see native sea birds and other wildlife.
