Prince Edward Tours Gray Line is seeking dynamic, innovative people to join our team in Charlottetown!

Prince Edward Tours/ City Beach Express ~

Sales & Marketing Coordinator

 DUTIES:

  • Coordinate packaging support material
  • Coordinate photography (photo shoots, purchasing of images)
  • Sales functions
  • Coordinate online marketing activities (including website and social media) in conjunction with the Manager, Marketing & Development
  • Work with Manager, Marketing & Development to coordinate the effective delivery of all written and visual material necessary for packaging and web content
  • Assist with operations of Tour Kiosk, sightseeing tours, and shuttle services
  • Attends appropriate events and functions to promote Prince Edward Tours’ sightseeing products at industry functions and events which fall under the mandate of the Marketing & Development department.
  • Provides organization assistance to Tour Sales Executive and Manager, Marketing & Development
  • Performs other duties as required.

 QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Post secondary student; going back to school for their final year.
  • Specialization in Tourism program preferred
  • Experience in sales and marketing an asset
  • Experience in the tourism industry an asset
  • Ability to coordinate and manage different tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Sound working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets, desktop publishing, word processing and presentation software such as PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain frequent contact, dialogue, relationships and working partnerships with key industry and association contacts including government and elected representatives, senior officials and staff, media, businesses, and stakeholder organizations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required
  • Ability to identify and examine alternatives and use creativity in developing innovative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Time Frame:

  • Mid June – end of October: approximately 30 – 37.5 hours /week
